In order to boost the ongoing water adventure tourism at Chamera lake, Chamba Deputy Commissioner Devesh Kumar has sanctioned funds to the tune of Rs 10 lakh for encouraging water adventure activities in the district.
He has also allocated Rs 12 lakh for the development of the Rock Garden at Devi Dehra, near Dalhousie.
A sum of Rs 25 lakh had already been sanctioned for the construction of a tourist hut near Satrundi, on the midway of the Chamba-Killar Highway, he added.
